Concluding a contract

The contract is concluded when the hotel receives a written confirmation from the guest and when the hotel sends a confirmation of the reservation to the guest. This means that the guest fully accepts the General Terms and Conditions (GTC).

You can make a reservation by phone, e-mail or through our online booking system on the hotel’s website. Confirm your reservation with a valid credit card or prepay by bank transfer, always in accordance with the offer.


All prices are in Euro (€ / EUR) and include VAT.


A valid credit card (Visa credit or Mastercard credit) is required to confirm the reservation. The following information must be reported: credit card type (Visa or Mastercard), name and surname of the holder, card number, validity date and CVC code.

In case the guest does not have a credit card, the guarantee is made with 50% advance payment of the full amount no later than 2 days after booking.

In case of cancellation of the reservation made on the website, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Standard price:

– Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 14 days before arrival.

– For reservations canceled 14 days or less before arrival we charge 50% of the total value of all nights.

– In case of no-show, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the value of all nights.

– In case of early departure, the full amount of the reservation must be paid.

A credit card is only required to confirm / guarantee the reservation. Payment will be made at the hotel upon departure. Hotel Miklic reserves the right to pre-authorize credit cards prior to arrival. This will make sure that your card is valid and that there are enough funds on it. The hotel will only charge your credit card if the cancellation policy is not met.

Non-refundable price

We charge the guest’s credit card for the entire amount of the stay without tourist tax at any time after the reservation. In case of cancellation, change of date or non-arrival, the paid funds will not be refunded. The guest pays the tourist tax on the day of departure.

Special conditions for group reservations (4 rooms or more):

– Reservations can be canceled free of charge up to 60 days before arrival

– Between 59 and 22 days before arrival, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee of 30% of the total value of the night.

– Between 21 days and 7 days before arrival, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee of 50% of the total night’s stay.

– Between 7 and 0 days before arrival or in case of no-show, the hotel will charge a cancellation fee of 100% of the total night’s stay.

Special offers, gift certificates or packages may be subject to special conditions.

Service (breakfast)

The basic service is bed and breakfast. Breakfast is available between 07:00 and 10:00. If the guest wants breakfast before 7.00 am, we can prepare breakfast for ourselves. If guests want it as an additional meal, it can be obtained at an additional cost. Taking food out of the breakfast room is not allowed. However, if guests do not respect this, the hotel staff will charge the full price of the meal per guest room. For all other meals (lunch and dinner), guests are advised to visit nearby restaurants.

Check-in / check-out of guests

check-in: from 14:00 to 21:00 check-out: from 7:00 to 11:00

We keep the reserved guest room until 9 pm on the day of arrival. In case of later arrival, the guest is obliged to inform the hotel in advance – no later than 18:00 on the day of arrival. If the guest does not inform the hotel in time, the hotel is not obliged to keep a guest room, and also has the right to charge the guest non-arrival costs.

Early check-in or late check-out is possible by prior arrangement, confirmation by the hotel, and subject to availability. An additional charge may be required.

Guests must have a valid ID (ID card, driver’s license, passport or other valid administrative document) with them upon check-in.

Early departure

In case of early departure, the full amount of the reservation must be paid.

Check out

On the day of departure, the customer must leave the room by 11 am, hand over the key at the reception and pay all outstanding costs (tourist tax, mini bar, sauna, drinks, hotel accommodation …).

If the customer exceeds the departure time and leaves after 11 am, the hotel may charge extra. Upon prior agreement and at the discretion of the staff, guests may be allowed to check out late. An additional charge may be required.

If the costs are not paid in full at check-out, we will charge your credit card and inform you by e-mail or through the channel through which you contacted us.

Tourist tax

Adults are charged a tourist tax of 2.00 euros per person per night. Children and young people from the age of 7 to the age of 18 pay half the value of the ordered tourist tax, in the amount of 1.00 euros per person per night. Children up to the age of 6 do not pay tourist tax.

Right of refusal

We reserve the right to refuse a reservation and in special circumstances the right to cancel, adjust or change your arrangement. If we have to cancel, adjust or change the reservation, we will do our best to offer an alternative date or accommodation. If you do not accept our alternative offer, we will refund all the money deposited. The hotel’s liability is limited to the return of the deposit. The hotel is not responsible for any other damages.

Baby cot

A baby cot is possible in all rooms except the smaller double room. This one is free of charge but must be booked in advance.



Pets are not allowed in the rooms. Possible exceptions by prior arrangement. An additional charge may be required.

Peace and quiet

There must be peace in the hotel between 22:00 and 07:00.

In the accommodation it’s not allowed

carry food and drink, wash and iron, carry liquid substances that like to ignite or explode, not substances with a strong and unpleasant odor.

Fitness and sauna

Hotel guests have unlimited free access to the hotel’s fitness center during their stay. A sauna is also available to guests for a fee and is payable at reception upon departure. The price is 20.00 euros. Due to the limited number of places in the sauna, advance booking is required.

Parking lots

Parking is free for hotel guests during their stay. There is a hotel car park in front of the hotel and a limited number of spaces in the hotel garage. Parking in our parking lots is at your own risk, the hotel is not responsible for any damage. Please do not leave valuables and money in vehicles, as we are not responsible for the safety of your items.

In case of free parking spaces and agreement with the reception, it is possible to use the parking lot even after your departure from the hotel. An additional charge is required. The parking fee is calculated on the number of days when you leave the car with us and is paid on the first day of parking in advance. In case you return for the vehicle early, we will not refund the money.

Bicycle / ski storage room

This space is intended for storing bicycles and ski equipment. The room is locked and guests can access it with a PIN code. There is a dryer for ski, cycling, hiking boots, ski gloves… The dryer can only be operated by hotel employees. E-bikes are not allowed to be charged overnight. The space is under video surveillance.

Hotel key

The hotel key is received by the guest upon check-in and must be handed in at the hotel reception upon check-out. In case of loss or undelivered key at check-out, the hotel reserves the right to charge the guest the value of the key and pendant in the amount of 30.00 euros.

Smoking and cleanliness

Smoking is allowed in the hotel only on the balconies of the hotel rooms and outdoor areas around the hotel and on the outdoor terrace. Smoking in the hotel rooms and elsewhere is prohibited. The hotel is entitled to charge an additional amount of € 200.00 to cover the costs of cleaning, refreshing and ventilating the room in case the guest does not follow the smoking rules. We make a special effort to provide clean rooms for our guests. In case of major stains or damage to our property, you agree to pay a cleaning fee of at least 50 euros depending on the damage caused.


An umbrella can be rented at reception. Umbrellas are free of charge.

Damage policy

We reserve the right to charge a credit card for any damage caused in the guest’s room or hotel during the guest’s stay, or for any items missing upon the guest’s departure.

Video surveillance

The hotel is under video surveillance.

Order additional services

In the case of ordering additional services performed by a third party, the guest agrees to provide the guest data to the implementing client for the proper performance of the requested service. This refers to the implementation of transport services, laundry and dry cleaning services, organization of excursions…

Loss and damage to guest property

Unfortunately, we cannot be held liable for lost or damaged property or for damages suffered by you or anyone from your company during your stay at the hotel or our property. You also agree that, in the event of the arrival of the police, you will cooperate with the state authorities and do your best to help uncover misconduct.

Complaints due to defects

If there are any faults in the room, the guest must immediately inform the hotel or its representatives and allow them to rectify the problem in due course.

In the event that the guest does not do so, we reject any possibility of subsequent complaints or claims for a refund. By doing so, you expressly agree to waive the right to make a complaint or claim a refund (portion) of the money after your departure.

These general terms and conditions are governed by Slovenian law. The parties agree on the exclusive jurisdiction of the Slovenian courts.
